Description:
A flag with an embroidered eagle made by Kazimiera Garstecka from Łęczyca near Puszczykowo, 1918. The story around national colours and symbols. In 1918, after over a hundred years of captivity, there was no official coat of arms and flag of the Second Polish Republic. So there was a reference to the white eagle on a red background. Such flags were made by women in the privacy of patriotic houses.
